Who is Woodstone?
Woodstone Credit Union has been serving members for nearly 70 years as a not-for-profit financial cooperative. Woodstone was originally established in 1941 to serve Weyerhaeuser employees. Since then we’ve grown to serve anyone who lives, works, or worships in Washington state or anyone related to someone eligible for membership.
We’re accountable to our members, not a group of stockholders, which means we can provide the same conveniences as other financial institutions, at an affordable cost. At Woodstone we offer competitive deposit and loan products - and we pass the savings on to our members in the form of lower fees and competitive rates and flexible options. The Woodstone Difference
A credit union is formed around a common bond, such as employment, associations, or community. As a credit union, we are a not-for-profit financial cooperative that exists to serve our members, we do not issue stock or pay earnings dividends to outside stockholders, instead our earnings are returned to members in the form of lower fees, competitive rates and more convenient services. Our main purpose is to give our members a place to save and borrow money.
