Historical Timeline
Woodstone Credit Union was established in 1941 in Tacoma, Washington. We selected our model due to the mission driven structure which supported a member-owned financial institution where our members are the stakeholders. And, Woodstone is the only financial institution headquartered in Federal Way, Washington.

Who is Woodstone?
Woodstone Credit Union was established in 1941 to serve Weyerhaeuser employees. Since then we've grown to include anyone who lives, works, or worships in Washington State. Woodstone Credit Union is headquartered in Federal Way and we're owned by our members, not stockholders. That means we're able to return profits to members in the form of lower fees, competitive rates, and flexible loan options.

You can if:
You live, work, or worship in Washington State
You work for the Weyerhaeuser Corporation or the Frank Russell Company, or one of our other employee groups
You are related to a Woodstone member (it does not matter where you live or work)
